Our ancestors establishing foundation have constructed public buildings such as Han, Turkish baths, imarets, hospitals, schools and mosques with no thought of personal gain and revealed our works in the nature of title deeds of our country and kept them alive. 

Today the duty of protecting our foundation cultural properties for the next generations belongs to Directorate General of Foundations. However, protection of these works requires a common responsibility which cannot be entrusted to a single institution or organization. Protection must also be implemented by civilian authorities, safety units, municipalities and by all our citizens. If we share this responsibility, our historical properties will live forever. 

Archival Works
Documents containing all and any information about foundations established from the Ottoman period to today otherwise known as ordinances and deeds of trust. Classification and transfer to micro film of these works has been completed and transfer to computer files still continues as part of the VAYS project. Their safety and physical protection has been ensured. They are open for examination by domestic and foreign researchers. 

Teberrukat Goods

All and any goods which are in our mosques and in small mosques and which are granted by benefactors and philanthropic organizations are named as Teberrükat goods. These are movable goods such as: *handwritten or printing Quran, component and book, 

*Sakal-ı Şerif, 

*Cover of Kaaba, rug, carpet and other exhibition material, minbar and reading desk cover, shawl and door curtain, 

*Candlestick and Candlestick wax, luminaries, candle and chandelier for oil lamps, hanger set, 

* Lectern, chair, minbar, door and window wings, staircase, Covering for Component and Sakal-ı Şerif, table 

* All and any handwritten or printing plate, framework 

*All kinds of clocks, gülabdan, (a small flask for sprinkling rose water) (buhurdan) Thurible and all similar metallic and glass things 

*Case, telephone, wireless, loudspeaker and its equipment, vacuum cleaner, sweeper and similar goods and movable goods,
