OUR TRADITIONAL CIRCUMCISION FESTIVALS HAVE BEGUN

The mass circumcision programs carried out by our Directorate General in accordance with the charitable provisions of the Sultan Bayezid II Waqf are once again being organized this year across 81 provinces under the coordination of our 25 Regional Directorates. As part of these programs, which we launched in 2024 and have since made a tradition, we provide free circumcision services for children who have reached the appropriate age, upon application by families receiving dry food and soup kitchen assistance, monthly financial assistance for those in need, or educational assistance from our Directorate General.

WE AIM TO REACH 2,100 CHILDREN IN 2026

Within the scope of the program, 1,410 children underwent circumcision in 2024, and this number increased to 2,351 in 2025. In 2026, we plan to provide circumcision services to a total of 2,100 children, with at least 25 children in each of Türkiye’s 81 provinces.

As part of our circumcision festivals, meals are served to children and their families, while a variety of activities are organized, including classic car convoys, animation shows, historical city tours, and traditional games.
