THE BRIDGE OF HEARTS WITH BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA GROWS STRONGER

We hosted Mr. Hüso Salihović, Director of Foundations of the Islamic Community of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Sarajevo, at our Directorate General. During the visit, our Director General, Mr. Sinan Aksu, congratulated Mr. Salihović on his new appointment and extended his best wishes.
Within the scope of the meeting, the iftar programs held throughout Ramadan at the Gazi Husrev Bey Madrasa in Sarajevo were evaluated. An invitation was extended for the opening of the Nevesinje Dugalica Mosque, whose restoration has been completed, within the framework of the Bosnia Waqf Days.
The processes of the reconstruction of the Hacı Murat Sipahi Masjid in Galčići (Mostar), the reconstruction of the Ferhad Pasha Clock Tower in Banja Luka, and the restoration of the Ali Pasha Mosque in Sarajevo were also discussed. Ongoing works across Bosnia and Herzegovina were reviewed, and views were exchanged on new avenues for inter-institutional cooperation.
