WORKSHOP ON THE CONSERVATION AND RESTORATION ISSUES OF OTTOMAN CULTURAL PROPERTIES IN THE BALKANS
has been realized at the dates of 21st-23rd September 2014 in Istanbul by Directorate General of Foundations.
ACTIVITIES REALIZED IN THE WORKSHOP
Presentations of the academicians and project executors who are experts on conservation and restoration from Turkey
Presentations, in which the whole process from the determination of the project to the completion of the restoration (law, bureaucratic procedures, etc.) will be mentioned, of restoration and conservation practices on the Ottoman cultural properties in different countries carried out by the participants from each countries
Discussions on the issues related to the subjects at the end of each presentation, seeking a solution to the main problems and preparing a final declaration.

PARTICIPATORY COUNTRIES
Below-mentioned 7 countries from the Balkans have been invited to the Workshop. The participatory committees consisted of persons who are working for prepotent institutions and influential on ‘’preservation of cultural heritage’’ issues in their countries, executive conservators and bureaucrats/executives from the Preservation Boards of countries.
